Privacy Policy

Updated: October 10, 2026

SnipCSS Kiwi is built to respect your privacy. The short version: the extension runs entirely in your browser, requires no account, and does not collect or transmit your personal data.

No account, no tracking

SnipCSS Kiwi has no login or user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information to use the extension, and the extension does not include analytics or advertising trackers.

Your snippets stay on your device

When you snip an element, the extracted HTML, CSS, and assets are processed locally in your browser and saved in your browser's local extension storage. Your snippets are not uploaded to our servers. If you export a snippet (for example as a ZIP or to CodePen), that action is initiated by you and goes directly to the destination you choose.

Permissions

The extension requests browser permissions needed to read the page you are actively snipping (for example, access to the active tab and the DevTools protocol). These are used solely to extract styles from pages you choose to run SnipCSS on — not to monitor your browsing.

This website

snipkiwi.com does not require an account and does not set tracking cookies. We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and clicks in aggregate. It does not identify you, store personal data, or track you across sites.

The mailing list

If you ask to be kept posted, you'll receive a confirmation link first. Nothing is stored until you click it. After that, your email address is kept with our email provider, Resend, and used only to send you occasional news about SnipKiwi and other tools made by Productive Mark LLC. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, which removes your address. We don't sell or share the list.

If you signed up for the original SnipCSS before 2026 and received a one-time email from us, your address was not added to the new list unless you clicked the link in that email.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
